Basil Papageorge (B.Bus, M.Bus Leadership, GradDip Ed )


Basil has been at Melbourne Polytechnic since 2016, leading the School of Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the School of Engineering, Design and Construction as Acting Head during 2018.  Basil brings extensive knowledge of international education operations with a successful track record in setting up offshore operations in China, Nigeria, India and substantial experience in operating international programs in South Africa, UK and Australia.  Prior to joining Melbourne Polytechnic, Basil held senior leadership positions at Coventry University in the UK, and the ADVTECH and CTI Education Group in South Africa. Basil is passionate about international programs and has been working closely with the Melbourne Polytechnic departments and International Office to streamline academic operations at Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic. Since September 2019, Basil has been Director of International Academic Operations at Melbourne Polytechnic, and will continue to provide operational leadership across all transnational programs offered by Melbourne Polytechnic.   

Wang Ting



Wang Ting, professor and master tutor of the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University, is currently the head of the Department of International Business.She has been engaged in economics and management teaching and scientific research for a long time, presided over and completed a number of provincial and ministerial key and general topics and won a number of awards, published dozens of related teaching reform and scientific research papers, edited and participated in the editing of many textbooks, participated in many times International and domestic important academic exchange activities have won various awards for many times.

Shao Lijing



Shao Lijin, doctor of Management, professor, head of Cross-Border E-Commerce major of International Business Department.He has published more than 40 papers, including more than 10 papers in important journals such as SSCI, SCI, EI, CSSCI; presided over or undertaken more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial-level projects; presided  provincial-level projects like professional teaching resource library in vocational colleges, high-level professional group in provincial vocational colleges, teaching innovation team in provincial vocational colleges; edited 8 textbooks in national key presses such as Tsinghua University and Nanjing University ; Won 1 first prize and 2 second prizes for vocational education teaching achievements in Fujian Province; guided students to participate in various competitions and won 5 national awards. He has won many honorary titles such as "Fujian Outstanding Teacher", "Fuzhou Education System Advanced Worker", "Teacher Morality Star" and so on.


Chen Zhong


Chen Zhong, born in March 1967, is a professor and the head of e-commerce major. The main research fields are international service trade, cross-border e-commerce, international marketing and supply chain management. He presided over 3 major provincial scientific research projects, 3 general projects, and more than 10 department-level scientific research projects. He has published 8 monographs (teaching materials) , and published more than 30 papers in SSCI and CSSCI journals. Presided over more than 20 national and provincial teaching, research and teaching reform projects such as national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites.He has successively won the first prize and the second prize of the Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.

Dr Charles Eller (D.Ed; M.Ed; B.Bus) 


Dr Charles Eller is Head of Programs Higher Education, Business and Hospitality at Melbourne Polytechnic, a position held for the past 5 years. He has wide industry experience, consulting to business in management, marketing planning, and sales and customer relations both in England and Australia. His educational Philosophy: “Each and every student and staff member is unique. As such they need to be considered and respected individually, and be provided with the opportunity to learn and grow within our educational community.”

Dr. Mike Turner. PhD (with Distinction); M. Mkting; B. Bus (Marketing) 

Mike is the Senior Academic Liaison –  FMP based at MP in Melbourne. He plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of academic content and teaching standards across HE Business, Accounting, Hospitality and IT, to deliver a world-class academic experience for students at FMP.  Previously Mike held the position of Dean of the Business Faculty and was the academic advisor to the board of directors at Broward College, HCMC Vietnam campus. Broward College Florida is one of the top three ranked colleges in the USA.  He is also highly sought after as a visiting professor to China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hong Kong and Thailand. Mike’s areas of academic interest are in Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking. 

Elizabeth Mitchell (M. Acc; B. Acc; CPA) 


Elizabeth is the Head of Program for the Bachelor of Accounting and Associate Degree in Accounting at Melbourne Polytechnic, and the Associate Degree in Accounting at Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic. She has earned a Masters of Accounting degree and is a member of CPA Australia. She has a background in Accounting, Taxation and Audit, and has worked in large (PWC), medium and small accounting firms in Australia.  Elizabeth has a passion for teaching accounting and has taught various accounting subjects in a number of universities and higher education institutions. Elizabeth is responsible for course development and delivery of accounting degrees both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  She is enthusiastic about using blended learning methods.  Her research specialty is financial literacy and currently she is engaged in research on the financial vulnerability of separated or divorced women in Australia whilst also completing her PHD in this area. 

Shane Wilkinson (M.Ed; Grad. Cert - Leadership in Ed. & Training)


Shane Wilkinson is the Manager Higher Education – Business & Construction at Melbourne Polytechnic and has had 18 years’ experience in Tertiary education, in areas from Automotive Mechanics to Business and Management. He has spent the last 10 years managing programs across a wide range of specializations (Arts, Hospitality, Accounting, IT and Business Management). He achieved his Master of Education in 2013 at Victoria University, and has an interest in Competency-based Learning and Applied Learning pedagogies.

Mei - Leng Rankin


Mei - Leng Rankin is the Course Coordinator of Business, Department of Business, Management and Finance at Melbourne Polytechnic.  She joined Melbourne Polytechnic (formerly NMIT) in 2008, lecturing in various economics and quantitative subjects.  She has extensive experience as a lecturer in tertiary education in a number of universities in Australia. She has also lectured overseas.  As an educator, she has focussed on economics and quantitative analysis majoring in diverse fields including banking, finance, economics, accounting, trade, marketing, management and transport.  Mei Leng has presented at a number of overseas conferences and has published in refereed journals, and has supervised post graduate research projects. Mei Leng has also been an experienced industry consultant, business owner and professional statistical analyst.  Her expertise as a professional statistical analyst includes trend analysis, data development and management, sampling designs, model development and testing, multivariate analysis, risk analysis and forecasting. Her experience extends across several industry sectors.

Chen Lijing


Chen Lijin, female, born in September 1977, Han nationality, from Yong'an, Fujian Province, associate professor, master of business administration of Fuzhou University. She joined our university in 2012 and taught courses such as international trade theory and practice, international marketing and cross-border e-commerce B2B data operation. She has been working in school for nearly ten years and has guided students to participate in provincial vocational skill competitions for many times to obtain good results.For example, in April 2021, she won the second prize in guiding and leading students to participate in the international trade skills competition in higher vocational colleges. In November 2020, she guided the students to participate in the sixth foreign trade document post skills competition and won the first prize of the group;In terms of scientific research, she published 10 papers in various journals, including 1 core journal; Presided over one project of provincial education department and one project of provincial education science planning department, and participated in the compilation of one school-based textbook. Selected into the 2019 famous teaching teacher training plan of the school.

Tingting Zeng


 Tingting Zeng,she got the Master degree of the Business Administration from Fuzhou University;Doctor of Business Adminstration at European University of Cyprus(Phd candidate).

She worked in sales department in many local foreign trade group companies for 10 years,and had 8 years education management working experiences in Fujian Agriculture and Forest University,1 year teaching experience in FMP.


Shi Shaoxiong


Shi shaoxiong, male,was born in April 1979,Associate Professor.He has a master degree in Fujian Normal University and has been teaching courses like economic mathematics, information management, international trade practice and so on. He has worked in Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic since February 2017.He has guided students to achieve good results in various vocational skills, innovation and entrepreneurship competitions at all levels across the country and in Fujian Province.

Yanjing Gu


I graduated from University of Birmingham, Msc international accounting and finance. I obtained the certificate of Tax advisor and Accounting professional Qualification, and many years working experiences on the accounting practice and financial management. Currently, I undertake the bilingual teaching courses of financial management, accounting English,etc.

Long Fengjiao


Long fengjiao,Master of Management, CPA, intermediate accountant.Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in accounting and financial management,teaching financial accounting, comprehensive accounting training,financial management.She has published more than 10 papers participated in 5 teaching and research projects. In 2021, she won the third prize of Fujian Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition. Since entering the school, she has guided students to participate in accounting professional skills competition for many times and won provincial awards.

Liu Xiaomo


Xiaomo liu, lecturer, graduated from Adelaide University with Bachelor of accounting and Master of applied finance. Who is the holder of CPA( Australia) and CMA. She had been working in LiXin BDO accounting firm and other accounting firms and also had been working as a lecturer of university for many year. Many core courses including management accounting, business accounting, intermediate accounting, auditing and corporate finance had been delivered by her. She had got many achievements. Under her direction, many students had win prizes in professional skills competitions and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions.

Xu Diyuan


Xu diyuan,she graduated from the School of Business Administration of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law with a master's degree in management, mainly engaged in research on e-commerce and management, and has published many articles, including several academic papers in English. She has worked in enterprises for many years, participated in the complete product development cycle, and has rich working experience in Internet product operation and enterprise management. She is a serious and responsible teacher, good at teaching according to the talent, combining enterprise practice and theoretical system, and teaching in depth and easy to understand.

Chen Chen


Master's degree, graduated from the university of Warwick. Bachelor's degree in Business management and Economics, master's degree in project and program management. I once worked as a compliance manager in Industrial Securities Ltd,. and published a related topic in <China securities> sponsored by Chinese securities industry association. I have five years of overseas study experience and four years of practical experience in the fund and securities industry. With a rigorous attitude in academic , I am very responsible for work. Also, I am good at combining theory and practice in teaching, to train an international practice ability for student with my Chinese and foreign advanced education ideas in teaching.

Lin Zhen


Lin Zhen holds a bachelor’s degree of Economics in International Economics and Trade from Fuzhou University and a master’s degree of Science in International Business from University of Birmingham. She mainly undertakes bilingual teaching of courses Cross-border E-commerce Theory and Practice, Network Marketing, Strategic Management and Lead Communication in the Workplace. She has solid academic attainment and the ability to combine advanced education and teaching concepts with the prevailing local education system, which can cultivate students’ international mindedness and critical thinking ability.

Xu Morong


Xu Morong Female, graduated from University of Birmingham with Degree of Master of Science of Financial Management. She has already obtained the Chinese Securities Practice Qualification and Chinese Funds Practice Qualification, passed the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level 3 test. She has been worked in China Industrial International Trust limited, as Business Manager in International Business Department. She is currently teaching finance related courses including: Economics, Commercial Banks Operation and Management, Life Insurance Claim Practice, Securities Investment. In 2021, she won the Third Prize of Fujian Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition. In 2020, she guided students to win the Third Prize of The 7th Cross-Strait College Students Vocational Skills Competition - Commercial Bank Management Operation Competition.
