Dr. Samuel Kaspi (PhD; M. Computing; B. Economics)

Associate Professor Dr. Samuel Kaspi’s professional expertise has developed in both academia and industry. As an academic, his most recent role has been as Head of Program of the Bachelor of Information Technology (2011- current) at MP. The program first ran in February 2012 with 23 students and has since grown to around 500 students in Australia and a cohort of Associate Degree students in China. The Bachelor program is well recognised and has professional ACS accreditation. In industry, Sam’s experience ranges from software development for Olex (now Nexans) to CIO of OzMiz where he managed the successful submission of four patents. His primary responsibilities were the development and delivery of subjects and courses at tertiary level (both undergraduate and postgraduate). As a consultant he was responsible for the development and maintenance of a complex software application while as CIO of OZMIZ Sam was responsible for systems research and technology research and the evaluation and development of the OzMiz intellectual properties.
Leonard Spain (Director Asia Academic Operations)

Leonard has been at Melbourne Polytechnic since 2019 initially as Manager Academic and Support Services for Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic. Leonard brings a wealth of experience in International education across both the vocational and higher education sectors. Before joining Melbourne Polytechnic, Leonard worked for New South Wales TAFE in their transnational education program as Director of Education. Prior to the education sector, Leonard held several Chief Information Officer roles with multinational companies leading global technology integration projects. In November 2021, Leonard was appointed Director, Asia Academic Operations at Melbourne Polytechnic, providing operational leadership across all transnational programs.
Zheng Xiangwang

Lecturer, master of software engineering, Chengdu University of Electronic Science and technology, mainly engaged in the research of information technology and big data. He once served as director of modern education technology center of Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic and director of Fujian Higher Education Technology Association. At present, he has presided over two key construction projects of Provincial Vocational Education, participated in one curriculum reform of the integration of education, production coordinated by the Ministry of education, published three papers, and the coauthor of an about 200000-word work. In the aspect of teaching, he starts from the actual needs and focuses on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability.
Liu Qing

Teaching Assistant, obtained master degree in Statistics from the George Washington University, and bachelor degree in Software Engineering from Xiamen University. Mainly studied: Computer programming languages, Big data analysis and application, Cloud computing development and application, and etc.
Wu YuPeng

Lecturer, earned his double master's degree in computer science and management from Melbourne University, and bachelor degree from RMIT University. He has a five-year overseas study background, and is mainly engaged in software development and big data. His class pays special attention to practical learning, which aims to improve students' learning enthusiasm and practical skills.
Yu Qiao

Master, graduated from HongKong University of Science and Technology. Held a Bachelor's degree in statistics major and computer science minor, master degree in big data technology. I have 5 years of overseas study experience and have worked for several worldwide companies like EY and Yango Education.
Devindya Sathsarani

A Computer Science lecturer at Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic, with a strong academic background and industry experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of SLIIT in Sri Lanka. With two years of teaching experience in a university setting, she is passionate about sharing the knowledge among students. Additionally, she has worked for two years at a global software company (IFS) as a Software Consultant where she gained valuable practical insights into the industry. Her preferred research areas lie in the fields of image processing and machine learning, where she strives to explore innovative solutions and contribute to advancements in these domains. As a computer science lecturer, she inspires students to master technical aspects of computer science and cultivates dynamic learning environment that merges theory with practical application.
Rukundo Jean Paul

Lecturer, Computer Scientist and IT Professional with Master’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, mainly specialized in Artificial Intelligence, Information Security and Cloud Computing as areas of scientific research. Worked with Wicresoft Shanghai, a global partner of Microsoft China specifically in Office365 cloud services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams.
Iftikhar Hussain

Computer Science Lecturer at Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in Dalian, China. His research interests encompass Wireless Networks and Communication, Privacy, Security, and Machine Learning Applications in Networks. He has authored and coauthored numerous scholarly works, with his published contributions gracing high-ranking international journals, showcasing the caliber and rigor of his research. He boasts over six years of experience teaching Computer Science in higher education institutions across multiple countries. His tenure has been marked by a profound dedication to disseminating knowledge, nurturing talent, and fostering an environment of academic distinction within the field.
Folasade Abimbola Aluko

Dr. Folasade Abimbola Aluko is an accomplished academic and researcher in Communications and Information Technology. She is currently a Lecturer at Fuzhou Melbourne Polytechnic, China, where she engages in teaching, research, and technical duties. Previously, she held similar roles at Guangzhou College of Technology and Business in Foshan and contributed as a Research Associate at HK Gaosheng Education, Malaysia.
Dr. Aluko earned her Ph.D. in Information and Communications Technology from the University Malaysia Perlis in 2021, after completing her master’s degree in the same field at Universiti Utara Malaysia. She is an active member of IEEE and the Internet Society and serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals like Frontiers in Psychology and City, Culture and Society.
